B-Scan

On July 30, 2007, the Brooklyn Borough Office will launch the Buildings Scan and Capture Application Network (B-SCAN) document management system. B-SCAN scans virtually all

contents of a job folder (with the exception of plans) for the electronic processing, storage and online retrieval of documents associated with New Building and Alteration applications. Already enabled in Staten Island and the Bronx, B-SCAN will be implemented citywide over the next few months.
